Roberta Barbosa accepted a job offer from the analytics platform Craft. But shortly after signing her employment contract, she was scammed into paying $15,000 for a work-from-home computer and monitor, with promises of reimbursement. She later discovered it was a financial scam and was able to hire a lawyer and get out of her employment contract (Delouya S, January 9th,2023).
