Central Turkey recorded a 4.3 earthquake today, which was shallow in depth at 10 km. The quake spawned 83 reports, such as the following:

"I was walking on the road in the market, and the shaking affected me like someone pushing me from behind."(Emsc, 2023). 

Aftershocks continue after one of the worst earthquake disasters in modern history.The largest earthquake took place in the Kuril islands(Emsc, 2023.  


Just after writing this page, there were six 4.0 - 4.9 earthquakes. When 6.0 earthquakes become regular, I expect a cover-up from the data. 

Volcanoes




According to experts, the Nevado del Ruiz volcano, which caused a major disaster in the Western Hemisphere, exhibits signs of heightened activity. As a result, the Colombian government has ordered evacuations in areas that may be affected.

The volcano is approximately 80 miles west of Bogotá. The country's Geological Survey reports that earthquake activity has reached levels not seen since the catastrophic eruption in the 1980s, which claimed the lives of at least 25,000 people(Armero Tragedy, 1985).

The authorities have raised the alert level to orange, the second-highest on a four-stage scale. The Global Volcanism Program recently reported that over 11,600 earthquakes on March 30 and increased ash emissions are likely due to the movement of underground fluids.

If UFOs gather for a pole shift or some planetary shift, we should see more signs in the skies. Here is a tweet that went viral not too long ago; bizarre, and I am not sure of its validity.

Sinkhole Growing In El Paso Texas 


 

Residents of Daisetta, Texas, a small town, were informed this week that a sizable sinkhole they believed had been stable for over a decade is growing. 
 
The town authorities stated on Sunday that they had that the sinkhole was "expanding." KTRK-TV reported that a building and industrial tanks near the sinkhole had been collapsing this week, as shown in a video. The footage also revealed cracks in the soil surrounding the edges of a vast hole filled with murky water and debris (Thornton, 2023, Usa Today).

US government data indicates that the Earth's ocean surface temperature has reached a record high since satellite records, resulting in marine heatwaves worldwide. According to initial findings from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), climate scientists claim that the average temperature at the ocean's surface has been at 21.1C since the beginning of April, surpassing the previous high of 21C recorded in 2016.

 Professor Matthew England, a climate scientist at the University of New South Wales, stated that the current trend appears to be breaking previous records. However, over the last three years, La Niña conditions across the vast tropical Pacific have helped reduce temperatures and dampened the impact of rising greenhouse gas emissions.

Detroit Michigan Reparations Movement 

 

The newly established reparations task force in Detroit intends to propose a plan for paying reparations to eligible Black Americans in the city, according to recent news.

A recent poll from the Center for Racial Justice and the Detroit Metro Area Communities Study at the University of Michigan indicates that a majority (63%) of Detroit residents favor reparation payments to address the enduring effects of slavery and discriminatory practices.

While some laugh at reparations, the concept comes from centuries of systemic oppression. The question is not if the reparations movement will grow but how fast. Are we too late for reparations for those who built the foundation of America? Most people who are active in this fight do not think so.

Forty-six ethnic media news organizations in California have been awarded over $5 million in grants by the state to support media outlets serving communities where hate crimes are likely to occur.    The grant program is a collaboration between the California State Library and the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs. Six Black-owned media organizations targeting predominantly Black audiences received grants, including California Black Media, The Black Voice News, L.A.
