The following is a bar chart that highlights the mean (average) age-adjusted mortality rates from 1999 to 2020 for White males and females compared to Black males and females. It clearly shows the higher rates among the Black population for both males and females, illustrating the disparities in mortality rates between these groups over these 22 years (Caraballo, 2023).
