Just A Thoth | The Hidden Crime Statistics Of U.S Crime Statistics | Are Black People The Face Of Crime? | Part 1
White Lives Matter |
How often do writers, researchers, and news reporters discuss statistics without acknowledging the hidden statistics? In the case of many crime victims, intimidation tactics, silencing, threats, and gang stalking prevent many of them from speaking out against injustice. The stories that go untold are hidden crime statistics that many do not acknowledge or even consider in most cases.
Being more vocal than others and discussing the issues important to the black community can get you watched by authorities. Nobody wants the extra smoke or to be canceled by corporations when looking for employment, so people shut up.
By not saying anything, we are all being complicit in the systemic racism and bias that black people face on a day-to-day basis. The topic of crime is no different when it comes to biased reporting and comments by people who have no clue what they are talking about.
The FBI crime data in 2019 shows that the white race is the number one group of offenders.
The Marshall Project is a nonprofit news organization that focuses on issues related to the criminal justice system in the United States. It was founded in 2014 by Neil Barsky, a former journalist and hedge fund manager, and named after Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice and a leading civil rights advocate.
According to a report by Li & Ricard (2023), "More than 6,000 law enforcement agencies were missing from the FBI's national crime data last year, representing nearly one-third of the nation's 18,000 police agencies." (p. 1).
Let us visualize the hidden statistics:
California & New York Lacking In Reporting
Two of the most populated states in America (California & NewYork) are not reporting federal crime data, which creates a large chasm of data missing. Keep in mind the following on the state of California:
Keep in mind the following data on New York as it pertains to black crime. Notice how the number of murder victims matches the number of suspects.
So, considering these facts, we can get a more balanced view of the total crime data in the United States when we combine it with the FBI crime data. Granted, you must consider that black people are the primary targets and are policed more than any other race.
According to a Pew Research article in (2020):
It is a known fact that there are many cover-ups and information that is not disclosed to the public, such as the case of Ronald Greene:
Ultimately, there are several hidden factors to consider when referencing black-on-black crime and crime statistics in general.
Just note when someone is talking about black-on-black crime and how bad the city of Chicago can be. Have them consider all the data from places that do not report the federal crime statistics. Black people represent a minority of the U.S. population, so anyone attempting to push a narrative without a full scope of the situation is not genuine.
Did you hear about the man found hanging in the city of Columbus Mississippi? Well, was he a victim of a crime? The police "suspected suicide" for this particular incident. But the final call is not conclusive at all. Mississippi is no stranger to bad calls by police chiefs and specific organizations the public cannot trust.
How many missing black people are included in the crime statistics data? Is there a cover-up going on for our lost brothers and sisters? There are many variables to make the final call on crime data, and when we consider these things, the picture is not so crystal clear.
Another factor is how many Illuminati agents, paid gang members, and sleeper cells are included in the crime statistics. Are these statistics even reported? We need third party, non-biased, independent reporting to hold our reporting sources accountable for the information presented!
So, if the so-called "leaders" are not being transparent about crime and cannot be trusted, how can we count all of the available statistics to the American public?
Incarceration Statistics Of Black Men- 2008
I created a pie chart that visualizes some of the data on black men from 2008. In terms of black women, the more recent statistics (2021) show that the female incarcerated population stands over six times higher than in 1980 (Monazzam, 2023).
The system is part of the problem; healthy families can also combat high incarceration rates, and so can reparations. White supremacists often cite the FBI crime statistics from 08-09, showing that black people commit over 56% of the violent crimes. But they fail to mention that states such as New York & California do not report crime data to the FBI.
What race is responsible for the missing black people?
Suppose this data is not taken into consideration when discussing black people. In that case, those making the argument of black people being the face of crime are not giving everyone a balanced argument/premise.
What if a specific community is tracked, watched, and policed more? This is yet another example of how the crime statistics can be skewed against melanated, aka black people.
Most black Americans have the experience of being treated less fairly than anyone else (Pew Research Center, 2020). With these points in mind, let us not forget the following:
According to a report by Li & Ricard (2023), "More than 6,000 law enforcement agencies were missing from the FBI's national crime data last year, representing nearly one-third of the nation's 18,000 police agencies." (Li, 2023).
So logically speaking, if 6,000 law enforcement agencies report at least 1,000 crimes yearly, that would equal 6 million per year on the low side. That is too much data to state that black people are the face of crime conclusively.
In part two, I'll be looking at this in further detail and getting down to the hard statistics. Thank you for reading, and have a great week.
